  • Rathfarnham Parish is a Church of Ireland (Anglican) parish situated in the south west suburbs of Dublin City.
  • We are committed to providing worship within an Anglican framework which is lively and relevant and which seeks to touch the hearts and minds of those who attend.
  • Being a mixed-age parish we have a wide range of organisations from toddlers to the retired.
  • Rathfarnham Parish is commit to a shared ministry led by the clergy and lay people. In 2003 a three year project “CHRIST FIRST” was launched to implement a collaborative ministry programme
  • An Outreach Program includes:
  • Support for Barnardos – the children’s agency

  • Support for Youth Horizons – an educational project in Jobstown, Tallaght, for early-school leavers

  • An Overseas Project with Daggafontein Primary School, near Johannesburg, South Africa

  • Rathfarnham Parish National School, a twelve teacher school with 240 pupils, is situated on Washington Lane, off Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham. Principle: Mrs. Joyce Perdue Tel: 01-4943470.

  • There are three choirs in the parish:-

    • Senior Choir (29 members at present) practice night on Wednesday at 7.45pm
    • Youth Choir for teenage singers and instrumentalists with great potential
    • Junior Choir for boys and girls aged 8 to 12 years old
